Calendar of Workshops
The Business Skills lab workshop schedule is now available. You can pick up your copy at the front desk in room E-108. You will learn a lot at these workshops so please join us. Every student is welcome to join these daily workshops provided that the student is enrolled in the Business Skills Program at Centennial Education Center.
What Are Workshops?
Workshops are conducted each school term. Workshops are conducted daily and run for a minimum of three weeks per topic. All workshops are taught by Business Skills instructors. All workshops are conducted in building E, room 108.
Workshop Topics
- Internet and Email (January 28 – February 16)
- Windows 7 Operating System (February 18 – March 9)
- Microsoft Word 2007 (To be advised)
- Microsoft Excel 2007 (To be advised)
- Microsoft PowerPoint 2007 (To be advised)
What happens in these workshops?
Students will be provided with class handouts on each workshop topic being taught that day. Also, instructors will conduct class exercises in which students will follow along in the computer with what is being taught. By attending these workshops students will become familiar with the basic functions of each course topic.
Join us at the Internet workshops beginning on January 28. Learn how to create and send emails, attach pictures, reply to emails sent to you and more. You will also learn how to search the internet, locate information on the internet, shop online and much more.
